Packet Design is located in As a member of the technical staff, you will work with a group of routing experts and architects in developing and maintaining product modules associated with visualization and analysis of routing and traffic data. In addition, you will become familiar with the software implementation of one or more core, platform, or application modules and provide quality extension or customer driven improvements. Qualifications: The candidate should have working experience in software development in Linux and C++. The candidate will also benefit from familiarity with SQL and databases (e.g., MySql), and a plus is a good knowledge of IP networks at the protocol level including one or more routing protocols, such as BGP, EIGRP, OSPF or ISIS. The candidate should be a disciplined team player with an excellent team attitude, with a proven record of working on teams to execute a plan and deliver the goods on time. Practically speaking, as Packet Design's products are in production, the candidate should also be willing to work hard on less interesting projects as well as the more intellectually challenging ones.
