We are excited to welcome customers from all over the globe to Dallas this week for our North America Customer Symposium (following NANOG 68)! As networks evolve and organizations are determining how to exploit new technologies such as SDN, it’s valuable to get together and learn from one another.
Our attendees will learn from our experts and each other numerous ways to:
CEO Scott Sherwood will discuss our multi-year journey evolving our pioneering, unique route analytics technology into a foundation for our SDN management capabilities. He will provide insights into our progress and the role of analytics in next-generation networks.
We are also honored to have Richard Lopez, vice president of global solutions architecture for Ciena’s Blue Planet Division, with us to deliver the industry keynote address. He will discuss the many challenges facing service providers who want to deploy SDN and NFV. Carriers want to leverage existing investments but also want to move to more programmable networks, which are optimized based on service demands. Lopez will examine how software plays a critical role in making these critical network transformations possible.
Customers will also learn about the latest version of our Explorer Suite, which we are announcing on Thursday. With this launch, we’ll become the first independent software vendor to offer management visibility into Segment Routing. New dashboards and workflows will help engineering and operations teams improve service delivery and mitigate the risk in deploying new technologies such as Segment Routing and SDN. Stay tuned for our announcement on Thursday!
We hope the Symposium is a place where customers can share the problems they encounter AND the solutions they have used to address them. We also want it to be a forum for us to help customers find new ways to derive value from our products. Overall, it should help Packet Design better serve our customers, because the more we connect with each other, the better we can advocate for them. After all, we are all part of the same community.
